2. This website

This website does not use cookies, analytics, tracking pixels, advertising or embedded third-party content. All fonts, images and scripts are served from our own domain.

When you visit the site, the web server automatically processes technical data that your browser transmits (IP address, date and time, requested page, referrer, browser type). This is necessary to deliver the site and keep it secure (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Log data is stored only for a short time and is not combined with other data sources.

If you email us, we process your message and address only to answer your request (Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR) and delete it once it is no longer needed, unless statutory retention periods apply.

3. The Debito app

Debito contains no advertising, no analytics and no third-party tracking. Debito stores the debts you enter (names, amounts, notes, reminder dates) on your device. We do not operate a user account system and do not receive or store this data on our servers.

Reminders are delivered as local notifications by iOS on your device.

Downloads and the optional donation (in-app purchase) are handled by Apple through the App Store. We only receive aggregated sales reports from Apple, not your personal data. We have no influence on the data Apple processes; please refer to Apple’s privacy policy.

4. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, for example the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA).

5. Changes

We may update this policy when the website or the app changes. The current version is always available at this address.
